What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM in the Villa Terrace garden. We recommend arriving early to allow time to travel down to the garden once you reach the venue.

How do I get to the ceremony?

We will have shuttles running from the St. Kate and The Pfister hotels starting at 3:30 PM. If you’re arriving on your own, note that the entrance is at the top of the property. From there, shuttles will also be driving guests down to the garden beginning at 3:30 PM.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Most of the evening—including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner—will be outdoors in the garden. Please plan accordingly and bring a light layer for the cooler September evening. Dancing and late-night festivities will move indoors.

What should I wear?

Our celebration is black-tie optional—polished and elegant attire encouraged. Floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, or tuxes are all welcome.
Please note: the ceremony and dinner will take place on grass, so we recommend choosing shoes accordingly (block heels, wedges, or flats are great options!).

When does the wedding end?

The reception will conclude at 10:30 PM.

Is there an after party?

Yes! Keep the celebration going with us at the St. Kate Hotel, 2nd Floor Bar following the reception. All guests are welcome!

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Where do I park?

If you are not using the shuttle, limited parking is available near the Villa Terrace. Rideshare or the hotel shuttles are highly recommended for ease.

What will the weather be like?

Late September in Milwaukee is typically crisp and comfortable, with highs in the 60s–70s and cooler evenings. Since most of our celebration—including dinner—will be outside in the garden, we recommend bringing a light layer to stay cozy once the sun goes down.
In case of rain, don’t worry—our venue has us covered with a beautiful indoor option, and the party will go on!
